Our story.

Eyespike opened in Lake City, Florida on April 10, 2002, as a marketing company: design, websites, and the printed pieces that went with them.

The work covered very different clients: a bank, a coffee company, a county tourism council. Over three consecutive years, that work won twenty-one Addy Awards.

Printing was part of the work from the first job. In 2011 we started putting the shop to work on brands of our own, and today printing is the whole business.

  1. Custom design work for First Federal Bank of Florida and Ellianos Coffee.
  2. SpringsRUs.com for the Columbia County Tourist Development Council, promoting the fresh water springs of north central Florida.
  3. Twenty-one Addy Awards over three consecutive years, judged by AdFed of Gainesville.
  4. Awarded the contract to design and develop a new website for First Federal Bank of Florida.
  5. Sticker.ai launches.
  6. StickerSheets.com launches.

Brian Boatright
Founder & Printer

Founded Eyespike in 2002 and runs the printing side. He runs the machines and builds the storefronts and production software behind both brands. He has been writing software since 1990.

Matthew Heston
Shop Manager & Technician

Started part-time as facility manager in January 2023. Full time and running the shop now. He maintains every machine in the building himself, so an order never waits on a service call. He also keeps finding a leaner way to do jobs we had always done the long way.
